The reply all option in email is definitely a problem for the sender and receiver. More often a sender clicks on the reply all option when its not needed and ends up spamming other people’s inbox.
So, Microsoft has found an alternative to this problem, It is rolling out all the reply all storm protection in its office 365, starting from today.

Reply All Storm Protection
This feature will block replies. For example if there are “10 reply all messages” sent to over 500 people within an hour, then the system will block significant replies for 4 hrs to let the sender ask to calm down.
Initially, this plan was aimed for large organizations but Microsoft has told that it will as of now applicable to small organizations and other office 365 users.
This feature was announced by Microsoft in 2019 but its origin traces down back to 22 years ago in 1997.
And also Microsoft has mentioned about another thing “Bedlam“, an internal mailing distribution list where a single email can generate more than 15 million messages.
