Whats-app after gaining a lot of negative reviews for its controversial policy privacy update, it is now aiming to add a new security feature for its users.
We saw Whats-app introduce self destructing messages with a recent update and now it is looking to add the same feature very soon for its photos.

This feature will work the similar way as the self destructing messages. Users will be able to set the timer after which the shared message will automatically disappear from the chat window and it cannot be imported from the chat window, however users can take a screenshot of the image before it permanently disappears.
Now, in the screenshots below showcasing the feature, you will se a timer icon on the left side of the text box while sending an image to the recipient.
The message a recipient would get after a sender enables the self destructing feature – ” This message will disappear once you leave this chat “
This feature will arrive on Android or IOS in the coming weeks. So, Let’s hope for the best.
